About the Department

The Department of Bengali is one of the most energetic and dynamic departments of Panchur College. The Department started it's functioning from the very beginning of the establishment of this College. The basic objectives were the promotion of Vernacular education, systematic and scolary study of Bengali literature and language and regional language and literature as well. It is now running with fifty students in each part of Honours section and total four efficient teachers.
