The word “Philosophy” literally means “love of wisdom’’. Philosophy is the study that deals with knowledge, truth, values, reason, mind, nature, language etc. There are many branches in Philosophy such as Indian Philosophy, Western Philosophy, Philosophy of religion, Ethics, Psychology, Social and Political Philosophy etc. The renowned philosopher Will Durant said, “Every science begins as philosophy and ends as art”. Study of Philosophy helps us to enhance our ability to solve problems, our communication skills, writing skills etc. Philosophy teaches us how to think critically in every aspect of life and also how to live life with moral values.
